First I just want to say hi as this is my first post here.I have a 7 inch silver arowana.I have had him about a month and he has been great but over the last two days he has started acting strange.At first he starting darting around the tank and has lost his appetite.When I came home today his eyes had a white film over the center and he has white stuff on his fins.He seems to have his mouth open a little as well.I hope someone can tell me what this is so I can help him.Thanks

The darting around sounds like he has ick or maybe some type of parasites. look closely to see if he has any white spots on him. if he does it's ick. the white film over his eyes sounds like he is developing 'cloudy eye' and the stuff on his fins is probably 'fin rot' they are both caused by bad water quality. do a water change and see how it goes from there.
