SILVER AROWANA NOT EATING HELP!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE HELP ME! my silver arowana has been eating less and less over the course of the past 3 days. this afternoon, he ate one pellet, and ignored the rest. I tested the water a week ago, it was fine, the only thing wrong with him is that he is not eating, and doesnt come over eagerly like he normally does to feed. he is not sitting on the bottom or anything like that. he is alone in a 220 gallon tank, and is about 20 inches long. PLEASE HELP ME THIS FISH IS EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!!!!!!!! Also tried silversides, didnt touch them.
 
my arowana does this from time to time. He eats a lot, and then barely touches his food. If there is no infection, injury, or bad water, I don't see what the problem might be. What do you feed it?
 
I feed it hikari floating carnivore pellets. he lost a scale about a week ago, but its already completely healed. tried silversides 2, didnt touch them. Im terrified.
 
you don't seem to be doing anything wrong. Do you treat your water before putting it into the tank?
 
I have well water. It has no chlorine, and the parameters are fine for a silver. so, the water is heated to about 78 degrees, but no treatment otherwise.
 
I can't see any reason why your aro would be sick. Bump the temperature up to mid 80's to boost metabolism and hunger, and add a few tablespoons of aquarium salt. Good luck!
