I just recently purchased my first Arowana after many years in the hobby of owning various cichlids and catfish/oddball species, it has been a dream of mine to own one and i felt i was ready after lots of research, this guy is about 5'' long and is curently being housed in 55 until he is a little larger where he will then be transfered to a 230 with a clown knife, channel cat, and red belly pacu...and if things dont work out with them, a 600 gallon pond is in the design phase for the basement, so he will be adequately housed either way. But my question today is weather or not my silver arowana is a true silver. I will post a couple pics, and i appoligise for the quality they are from a cell phone. But he has a lot of red or pink color in him, also he has a lot of blue around the spot by his face, most of the slivers ive seen are just that...sliver.
