Silver Arowana Questions

Hello Lades, Gents... 2 questions for ya...

#1 Silver Aro growth rate - How fast do they grow? I feed once or twice a day, and do 3 water changes per 2 weeks.

#2 Docile? I read about anything before I buy it, and I was always told that SilAro were peaceful. I have an aggro GCK that likes to snap at my Aro. I recently enjoyed seeing my Aro defend himself. My question is, is this common behavior between the two fish? I have only noticed cichlid back down other fish in this manor. Slowly swimming face fish towards their attacker... it was extremely cool. I have a camera on deck at all time now, if it happens again I will be sure to get a video.
 
#1 - Inches per month. i.e. Fast
#2 - Relatively (extremely compared to a Jardini). They are powerful fish, but they can be bullied.
 
Thanks bro... so i can expect 1.5 to 2 inches per month?
 
mine likes cooked shrimp with pellets stuffed in... but your is small yet.. but u can try tiny bites
 
I'm feeding my silvers talapia chunks. They love them. Both are growing at least 1.5 in per month. Fast! I dont see much aggression from them, but if my big clown knife bugs them, they will snap back. They remain very peaceful and beautiful to watch.

They usually grow about 2-3"/month when they're between 6 and 24 inches and usually reach 24" within a year; after that growth slows to about 1"/month
