silver arowana tank help!!

hi iam new to this fourm site and would like to say hello and thank you in advance for your help =) I just got my first silver arowana about 3 weeks ago i currently have him housed in a 30 gallon with some of my jewel fry hes about 4 inches now i have a 125gallon with a spotted gar an oscar and a common pleco i am trying to build a plywood tank my first ever and i wonted it to beable to house my arowana for life i was trying to make it 8ft long by 3ft wide by 2ft tall but i have never built one before and was looking for any info i could get on building this tank on best plywood to use and othere building supplys before i attempted this also for a luiquid rubber is bluemax ok to use heres a video of him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Axms...xt=C3fa0582UDOEgsToPDskLYD5vrZejMHtdJOTKc5EAS i also have videos of my othere tank if you wont to check them out any help would be very much appresiate it

how come his only 4inchs now once he reaches about 6 inchs he will be moved to my 45 gallon he will be there till about 8-10 inches then will be moved to my 125 gallon i cant put him in the 125 he would get eaten by my gar or oscar hes to small to be in a tank with them
 
Sounds as if you have a decent plan for upgrading. Building your own tank takes lots of research. Check out the do it yourself forum and maybe post a thread there. Need to get some info from those who have built tanks.
 
yeah there are some great tank builds on here with a lot of the lessons already learned for you
