Silver Arowana w/ Red Eye Problem

After looking through the forum I wasn't able to locate any information regarding this problem (though I was expecting to find some). My 6'' Silver Arowana has a red eye and it looks like it might be blood shot or something. I've heard of this being caused by water quality, but I'm not sure.

Could anybody lend their opinion on this?

i am curious to what it is and what it looks like, could you post the pic..could very well normal..some fishes do have red eye rings..mine sometimes its orangish or yellowish depends on its state
