Silver arowana, wide bar silver dollar, Clown loaches

I bought a 125 gallon growout tank, for 6-10 wide bar silver dollars
A small baby arowana
6 small clown loaches

I am having an acrylic tank built, what would be the perfect size for this stock for a final home, any recommendations to improve the setup ?
the wall I want to put it on has 9ft of space

For the silver arrowana, as big as you can afford to make. Ideally you will need the 9ft of tank by 4ft wide. That arrowana has the potential to reach over 3ft so will need the full size. A jardini arrowana would have needed less.

But then the Jardini would of had the whole tank to himself lol

Yeah that’s what I am thinking budget is around 6 grand total, I am thinking I can get a decent size depending on the material I chose, I just want a good size so the tank doesn’t look empty but I will try 400-500 gallons if possible

With that budget see if you can do 8x4x2. That way you can use 1/2” with inner bracing or 3/4” acrylic.this size will also be able to utilize typical sheets rather than custom sizing over 8’. Still have a good footprint and hopefully keep it close to the budget depending on how good of a connection you have for the acrylic tank.

The 8 by 4 by 2 seems doable I will contact him, and try to make it work.

I was also able to switch my arowana for a 9 inch black arowana, so that’s a plus

Blacks are slower growers and don’t seem to get quite as big. But aren’t as sturdy as silvers.

Fish are home, and thriving, thinking of replacing loaches with another bottom feeder though
