Silver Arowana with dots on top of head?

Hi all my silver Arowana I've noticed has this weird dot pattern only on top of his head. Anything I should be concerned about? Other then that he's looking good

How hard is your water and how often do you do water changes?

Never seen a Aro with that hopefully its not HITH.

I don't think my water is to hard I usually don't test for hardness but it's regular tap water , I usually test my other parameters such as pH, and nitrates and my arowana gets about two water changes a week, nitrates in his tank are always extremely low

Yeah I'm almost curious if it has to do with some type of vitamin deficiency. My arowana is super picky and will not eat pellets so his diet consists of mostly krill, plankton, live meal worms and crickets

Well that is not a bad diet . Have you ever tried Hikari floating Carnivore sticks?

I've never seen this on arowana either. I'd think this is not normal and at very least requires close observation. And close-up shots to see if it is hole in the head disease, of which the patches superficially remind.

If you fast the fish a bit, several days or a week or two if needed, I think it'd take floating pellets.

Well that is not a bad diet . Have you ever tried Hikari floating Carnivore sticks?

Yeah I have them but he rejects them sadly
