Silver arowana with eels?

i have an arowana thats about 5inches right now would it be safe to put an eel or two in the tank? What eels are there?

i don't know much about eels but i would think it ok as long as it isn't electric eels and they are similar in size

consider birchirs/polypterus species, not eels but great looking fish that get along great with aros

I have a 15" tiretrack eel in with my black aros and 2 bichirs in there as well, no conflict between any of them! Good luck

i have never had a problem with mine gettinng along but i use to also have a peacock eel but he got out of the tank just be careful becasue eels can get out of a tank easy make sure no openings in your lid otherwise your have a dried eel on your floor but any spiney eel would work out fine fire eels get big though so be warned so do snowflakes and they can deliver a nasty bite i have one never bit me yet but i have heard of others being bit bad but if you want a real moray eel the snowflake is the way to go but make sure you use aquarium salt
