silver arowanas and Zaire Frontosa

sounds really weird but a friend wants to get rid of his Zaire Frontosa and i know that their expensive but he says he'll give it to me. its 3.5". I cant put it with my gar and clown knife or in my JD tank and ive done abunch of research on the mix as tankmates and have found nothing really solid. some ppl say NO NO NO while other say they have had that set up for years or as the final tank set up my silvers are 7" 7" and 8"

i just want to know if i can keep him there long enough for him to growout and be moved in with the JD's or keep him there permantly
