You've heard that asian arowana's are the fish to bring outstanding luck. This is great news if your living in a country that will allow you to own one. And even if you do, you have to be able to afford one. This implying that you must have had some good luck before you got your arowana. Perhaps he knew you wanted him six months before you got him and made it possible for you to afford him. Nice fish. But for those of us in the US, floundering (pun intended)in mediocrity, we must be greatfull for the Silver arowana with much limited luck powers. Case and point. I bought a scratch ticket the other day and was hoping for the $50,000 jack pot, but instead won $5.00. Well, I guess I should be greatfull as it did help pay for the silver arowana that I have. Besides if I didn't have him at all, I wouldn't have won a darn thing. So, thanks fish. I think if you were in a horible car accident and owned one of those cool Asian arowana's, you'd probably make it on the Oprah show as the Amazing guy who made it through Deaths grip without a scratch. But if you owned a silver arowana, you would just have to be thankfull to be alive and still have one leg left. Its a lot better than death so keep your chin up you Silver Arowana owners. Look at all the neat things in your life and race to your aquarium and thank your fish. You don't have to look at all the amazing things in your life as there are none to worry about. I mean who needs the worry of getting a door ding in your brand new Mercedes. These are worries brought on by that stupid Asian fish. My fish gives me no such headache. My fish allows me a 1993 Ford pick-up. Ding the doors all you want. I don't care. Now thats what I call a fish. So, those of you with those problemsome Asian fish, now you see. It has no more luck than to cause your life stress. Not my fish. His name is Augustine. What a great looking 16" Silver arowana. Thank you Augustine. Great fish.

who knows how many times the silver helped change our luck.. they are suppose to give their life to save your life or someone in the family.. my arow jumped to his death the night i found myself in Intensive care in the hospital so for me their is alot to concider ..and just maybe theres some truth in this tale, by the way nice name Augustine..

Great post. My Silver, bought as an impulse buy, lived his young life behind a plastic barrier in a 55 gallon African cichilid tank. He brought me luck to find a 120 gallon setup with fish for $400. Now at about 10 inches he needs to bring me more luck to find a 220 or larger tank at a reasonable price.

Good post.:grinno:

It all depends on what you believe. The power of suggestion is indeed powerful. :naughty:
