Not too sure about breeding behaviour of aro's as I've only ever kept the one, bred lots of diff cichlids over yrs though , but to me they do look like they are pairing up to breed and the fact that there not actually attacking one another would suggest they are a pair , good luck with them it would be Brill if they did breed (send me some fry lol )

Maybe ur lucky enough to have a pair...i have 5 together 20-28" and they do this constantly (weird swimming and turning into an "s" shape). They get pretty mean with the others fin nipping aswell. Urs seem extremly clean fin wise so id say its a pair. I had a female drop eggs for me lastyear but she was in a tank alone. From my experience they drop in the fall around august/september and they only do this once a year so its a long wait to see but goodluck! Here is a pic of the eggs i had :) since there together the eggs will be fertile when she drops. If the male doesnt pick them up to mouth brood, remove them and put them in an egg tumbler to hatch. They are an absolute mess if ur other fish start eating them. My 3 gar had a feast of caviar lol but my eggs were not fertile as the female was alone at the time.

People say they "dance" or kinda shake when they pair up but ive never seen this in person, ive seen more of what uve shown in the vid. Its also hard to determine who the female is, mine has a slightly longer/portruding lower jaw and has deep red coloration compared to the others but there is really no sure way to tell like in cichlids. I can tell what it looks like when a fem. Is packed full of eggs but i just thought she was bloated for 3 months when it first happened. She also did not eat for a good month before dropping but looked like she had if that makes sense.
