Need some help,im looking into getting a arowanna. What are their growth rates, and how long could a juvinile aro stay in a 90 gallon tank.Would cichlid gold be a good staple diet.

hypotheticly say you grt one thats about 6". they grow about 2" amonth so it could probably live in a 90 for 5 or 6 months,
cichlid bio gold would be good for them, other good treat would be blood worms, and they occasional cricket or quarentined feeder;)

O really?dident know that, maybe this fish isent something for me.

180...would me the minimum... But the larger the better...

About 1-2" per month growth rate...but it depends upon the feeding and water changes...

180 for a large silver is cruel in my book, ive seen LOTS of silvers over 30"(still not full grown), and theres no way it would be happy in a 180. if your looking to house a silver for life and provide the propper accomodations for a fish of this magnitide, think more along the lines of a 8'x3'x24" minimum, larger even better.

I'd say at least a 240 would be the bare minimum
