I want to the fish store today and saw a silver datnoid about 5 to 7 inch they wanted 20$ i thought maby i might buy one (the one they had looked sick i will ask if they can order me on ) i need tyo know facts on them how big do they get and what tank sizes is good for them thanks every one :D

they get to around 13 inches, but that is pretty rare. Datnoids are notoriously slow-growing. I would say that a 75-100 gallon would be alright for a Datniodes polota, but it depends on the size of the fish. You can feed them f/t krill, market shrimp, healthy quarantined feeders, pellets, or chopped up silver-sides.

now thats what i want to hear thankes SnaKeheAdSrAwSomE what fish cant you put them with will a 1 aro 2 pbass and 1 silver dat all be okay in a 125

You will need to upgrade if you are going to put an aro in there. a 125 gallon is wayy to small for a silver aro. They Grow to quite large sizes, same for pbass. Bare minimum is a 180 gallon measuring 6 x 2 x 2 for a silver arowana, preferably wider. A datniodes polota is fine in a 125 though.

If you put it with the silver aro, make sure the dat is at least 7" so the aro doesn't eat it. Dats are slow growers compared to aros and pbass. As long as the dat doesn't fit in the mouth of the aro or pbass, then you're fine. Vice versa as well. Just makes sure the dat is bigger in advance to where it doesn't kill the aro...

I know i would have to up gared for the aro but i would thinke 2 pbass and 1 silver dat would be okay in a 125
