Silver Dollar fins turned black help

what does this mean all of my spotted silver dollars fins got a black tip is this mating or what is it they are all fine and no damage to fins

ok should I put them in their own tank cause i would like to save the eggs cause i have catfish oscars and other sds tht will eat them

Your aquarium conditions are apparently just right also they may breed/ spawn without you knowing.

My silverdollars breed so often at least once a month none of the eggs ever make most of the time they are eaten or my other fish squishes them

the black went away already lol guess it was just dominance

Dominance the black will be there unless it’s no longer the alpha I think more spawning colors my SD would get stripes and black when they would breed

all 3 had the color and then the darkest one kept a little of it on his top fin
