silver dollar ..need help urgent...please..

hey guys...
i have an community aq. which has 9silver dollars and 2 CL's and a pleco and 2 upside down catfish.

see the prob is...my CL's was no where to be found and eventually when i look in to the aq i found some of the bones left . Apparently after few days i found out my suckers was dead either ...it was like so eaten up ...all boney as well..!!!! ......

I thought all the silver dollars are like shy fish and vegietarians...

My question is..: Does silver dollars eat other fishes that are abit medium size thn them? and what do i do now??? I DONT WANT TO LOOSE MY UPSIDE DOWN CATFISH....

help help help ...mayday....guys...

I cant picture them straight up killing. They might have died some other way and then the SD's ate there bodies.

What are your water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrAte and ph?

I've kept my SD's with all kinds of other fish and they never so much as look at them, i tend to agree that they may have died as a result of something else and the fish fed then.

I tried putting Guppies in with my larger SD's once and they went at them like feeders! I was watching one swim around with a Guppy's tail hanging out of it's mouth like

I can't imagine them killing and eating bigger fish though.

yeah it's not the SD's. Something else is killing your fish. I would check parameters and/or do a water change.
