Silver Dollar, or is it...?

Hi everyone. I was wondering how to tell a pirhana from a silver dollar? Cause I have had this "silver dollar" for about a year and those spots have not gone away? Can anyone tell me if he is actually a silver dollar or a pirhana? He also has not really grown much. He's probably about 3 to 4 inches across. Thanks

that is a type of silver dollar definately! There are about 11 or so differant variants. The spots will stay on the fish I actually have an adult about 8 inches and it still has the spots. Incidently these are usually the more desired silver dollar because of the spots.
