my four silver dollars have recently started to have orgyies all at the same time. they all swimm right next to each other to form what looks like one wide fish and shake super fast for bout 5 seconds then break off. htey do this all day long for 2 weeks now. what is it aggresion or "fun"?

my poor dollar ended up fighting with the other, so i endedup removing them both from the tank.

they are 4"(under a year old) except for 1 of em is stunted and stuck at 3"(2 years old).they all have been getting some color on their tails and body(dont ask, hard to explain).they are in a 90g.
