Wrong section !.

But i think the only way to find out is to buy a large group and then see if they breed , then if they do you could/ can just watch them carefully and see if you can work out which are Males and Females . There might be a diffrent/ easier way but that the only way i know/ heard of is that , just too watch them . :)

Yea I wasn't sure which section to post in but since I am a cichlid guy and these are dithers for my cichlids I figured I would ask here.

I notice some of mine have a little red under their gills and the others don't but I have found too much specifically on sexing them. Not sure if this is a factor or not.
 
Anal fins are slightly longer in females, but it's one of the hardest species to sex and I'm no expert.

The above advise is good, watch and learn from them
