my cousin is 11 and just started to cycle his newest tank a 125, except it has saltwater dimensions so it is like 4by2 by 2o"
he wants to do a bunch of silver dollars
i was thinking he could at least fit 6 to 8 in the tank
he also wanted to do a few bichirs
any suggestions, he should be coming to the site soon so he can gain a wealth of help idea's and knowledge

Should be able so put many, many silver dollars in a 125 and a huge amount if filtered with an airator.

yea he has an fx5 on it so alot of filtration, i was thinking around 8 and have room for some other fish

I'd get 6 and then put 1 senegal,1 delhezi, and 1 polli palmas. Have be on the verg of overstocking if not already.

i dont think that would be over stocking maybe if you loaded over with silver dollars, i think getting 8 originally would be more feasible for the long run
depends on what sizes i can get them in and what amounts

the filtration wont be a problem it has like a 7 times turn over

im gonna go against the norm and say you could put 20 in there.:WHOA: that is if they are common SD's, they grow fairly slow and usually only hit 6" and a monster shoal of em would be cool. not shure if bichirs would do well with alot of SD's. the bichirs would have a hard time getting food, SD's are greedy mofo's and lightning quick.

yea i think hes getting a 1000 gallon pond at least.. lets say hes pretty rich to say the least
