i have a sizable SD in a 30 gal tank and wish to put him in my larger tank. the only downside would be that my oscar is 9" my pacu is 12" my plecs are 7" and 13+" and a syno cat about 6-7". my silver dollar is 2-2.5"L and a little less then 2" tall. how long should i wait before putting the SD with the oscar and his friends?

ok so would you think a school of three would be a safe bet? again would they be able to be housed with the oscar? yet would the single one be able to be housed with the oscar until i got more for schooling?
I would definatly hold off and let him get a little more size in his current tank first to make sure that he'll be safe. and metynnis are a schooling fish id add a few more at least another 2 so thats its a trio but ideally try for 5 or 6.
my LFS has a limited amount of silver dollars so i will do the best i can to school them properly
