I'm not quite sure what this is but its defenitely not a silver dollar. not a deformed or short-bodied one.1649246947780.png

I think what you have is a Metynnis type Silver Dollar. Looks like it might be a Fasciatus variant.
I've kept M. Fasciatus in the past & many were very similarly shaped w/ only very subtle differences in the fins. Be sure to keep that one, beautiful fish.

It is Metynnis fasciatus. Thank you. Those actually sold out for quite a bit for now. Those were also not as "rare" and "uncommon".
I'm really looking forward to see one of them again.

all of them have that threaded fin. Seems like the importers are really careful.
