Im wondering if i can keep silver dollars in my tank with anubias nana and crypts... Can i?

hmm... i wonder how im gonna keep nitrates down without my plants...
has anyones dollars eaten their crypts?

My silver dollars have nibbled up the edges of my fake plants. I wouldn't put anything with them that I wanted to keep, that's for sure. As for nitrates, I guess just more frequent water changes. If your tank isn't overstocked, nitrates really shouldn't jump up that high. Also, I saw some pictures once where a guy had installed an overflow and sump on his fw tank and planted the sump (a rubbmaid container with strong lighting) with all sorts of plants so that he still got the benefits of plants without having them in the display. Just an idea.

Hmm i have neither the cash or space for a sump...
If i feed them veggies once in a while will they stay off the plants?

Silver Dollars will eat plants regardless of what you feed them. My 6 get fresh veggies everyday and still I have to rotate anubias out of the tank once they demolish them. I have a tank of recuperating plants that I rotate into the display tank as the plants that are in there get chewed up.

sd are herbivores and will much on plants

hmm... so theres nothing i can do...
do you guys think the oy and entertainment of the sd's outweighs the burden of having to do lots more water changes?

You shouldn't have to do THAT many water changes. I have ten in my 125, ranging from four to six inches, along with 2 Florida Gars who are about twelve or thirteen inches, and I only do bi-weekly water changes. Nitrates are always under 20. I run a Marineland C-100 and a Rena XP4. If your tank is really overstocked, or your filtration isn't strong enough, you're going to have more problems than nitrates, anyway.
