Silver Dollars/Angelfish

I have 1 adult silver dollar who is pretty lonely. Im looking to get more but first i need to know how big they get and if a different kind of SD will school with the my SD. Mine has 2 blacks stripes running down his sides but I can only find regular SDs. Help!

Also my Angelfish got beat up by a friends blue Gourami that I was thinking about buying. Got rid of the Gourami, but the Angelfish's seemingly delicate fins were chewed away to the halfway point (I was away for the weekend). Will he heal? Hes a pretty big and a beautiful fish and I hope he lives.

i don't know the exact inches but silver dollars as adults are around the size of a tea saucer. I can't add on since i've only ever owned one variaty at a time. The angel should heal as long as the water is kept very clean and the angel is not being stressed by tankmates

My female dovii ( wolf Cichlid ) has been biting on the male back fin. It has become to me tail rot and I have been using melafix it's seems not to be working. And know he has a white looking fungus around the area she been biting. Could anyone help me and advise on what to do next thanks
