So I have a 6ft rack with 40b and my original plan was to have another 40b community, but an add on craigslist for a 3' by 2' tank made me think otherwise. I wasn't gonna have any SD's in the 40b, I was gonna have Buenos Aires Tetras instead. So i was wondering would a 3' by 2' be enough for some SD's, specifically Metynnis lippincottianus, maybe fasciatus or even maybe a Dawkinsia species.

I'd have to search them each up separately, but I wouldn't keep them in there unless the max at like 4" cause they're tall bodied and require a group which can take up space and add to the bioload quite a bit as they are messy

I have owned a trio of lippincottianus before in my old 65 (4'by1'by2') looking back I was pretty sure their skittishness came from their lack in numbers ( I may be wrong), but if I do end up getting that tank I will try it, but I will hopefully have my 75 for back up in case it doesn't work out.

I found mine acted very different when I had 5 and after my wolf ate 2 they separated and hid in a corner of the tank. Before they were active greedy, and all over together, he couldn't swallow them whole so he bit them in half. The other night I woke up to my endli trying to eat one as well. IMG_2416.JPG
