Silver Dollars : Mouths (Disease?)

Hey Guys A Few Of My SD'z Mouths Have A Brown Skin On The Top Of There Lip! Im Not Sure If It Disease Or Just An Injury Or Not!?!? Anyone Help Me Out??

just treat the water as you normally would, salt + heat or such, SD's are always prone to mouth problems because they are so clumbsy smacking into the glass/other objects.

I believe 90% of problems occur because of water qaulity, so check that to.

Yep princess has got the right idea

Add salt and do a 25% waterchange. Just monitor it. Silver dollars have a good fast metablisum and heal up very quickly.

Mine also injure their mouth from banging into things, I hear them at night smacking into the glass the silly buggers
