IN YOUR HEAD
is it common for them to jump into the top of the tank and kill them selves? i have had one for a few months now and it was fine then i left for 5min came back and it was rolling and twitching on the bottom, breathing heavy, with a scuff on the top base of its head...it seemed to also have a crink in its neck...

i've not had one die, yet. i was changing my water today and after i got the water level down to a low level ( 25% remaining in tank), my silver jumped and hit the side of my tank. he hit it face first and was totally airborne. fortunately, he swam away and was unharmed. i've heard some really bad stories.

by "silver" due you mean silver gar, aro...i think you mean silver gar...this one is almost dead now it stopped twitching...that sucks i liked it...

I was referring to a silver arowana. i may have misread your post. sorry. my bad.

thats alright...my silver aro has jumped out before luckily it lived...my silver gar not so lucky...it is very strange the tank it was in has been doing a strange die off...the perams are perfict but there have been random deaths like this one...and a deformation of one of my sens, idk if the sen ran into the glass or what...
