silver in a 55

i reay want to get a silver and my lfs has one thats only about 3" my largest tank is a 55g how long could i keep him if i were to get him. i dont want to get him if ill have to get rid of him soon

I had mine in a 75g for 10 months before I accidently OD'ed it trying to cure it's cloudy eye. It grew to 12"

This is true...I think most of us (including me) has said, "I'm going to upgrade soon" and never do.

I was the same untill i did actually upgrade... sveral times LOL, im condifdent that my 350 will be big enough for my silver.
