Finally introduced my silver arowana (7inch) to my jar (8inch). They have been in the tank (180g) for 5days now with no problems so far. jar seems to just swim around mid to top level water minding his own business while the silver is just on top gliding. I'll post some pictures when I get my camera back from someone who borrowed it.

I have heard negative things about putting Jardinis with Silvers before on this forum. However I had a pair together in a 240 gallon for about four years and never had any problems. Just as you stated my silver stayed at the top of the water column and the Jardini swam beneath. Until the Silver jumped out through the glass top and then I sold the Jardini.
