Silver Is eating up a storm!

Ok just got a 10" Silver 3 days ago. We'll he's hungry real hungry!

He's already eating floating pellots, market prawns, the occasional rosey. And tonight he started eating jumbo night crawlers.

Should I vary his diet that much? Or should I try to keep him on the shrimp to help maintain all the pink this guy has?

Also I don't want him to grow up too fast, but don't want to stunt him either. Should I feed him till he rejects food and looks like a beach ball? Should I feed him every day, or every other? I know noob questions. But better I ask here than the LFS where I got him

i havent had that much expeireance with aros except for talking about and learning about them so dont take all my advice likeits the best advice but feed him daily maybe once or twice depending on how much and don't overfeed him because that can be bad for him and the tank parameters if you have him in a large enough tank it will not stunt his growth so dont worry about his food intake its good to have a changing diet but not that often so try to feed him 1 thing for 3 days and another for 2 days, ya get me here.

you dont have to stuff him until he stops eating. if you dont want him to grow too fast, then dont power feed like what your doing now.

its good to feed him different foods. besides prawns, also heard hikari cichild gold is a good food to bring out the red. i havent tried it, but im considering it. anyone here have experience feeding cichild gold to bring out the red?

I used to feed my jardini anything, including pellets, gold, staple, krill, etc... their favorite is crickets...you'll see......
