My silver has now killed one of my other silver aros, beat the crap out of the other silver still left, spotted gar has missing scales on his side, and now my pike when i got home from work was barely breathing all stiff and colorless already. I love aros and thats why i set my tank up. I am going to give him away and take 3 small ones again. Don't want to lose my other gar either. Leaves the dats, plecos and cats alone. I know its nature but I would like other fish than just him. The first time around I put the 3 aros in at different times and the original is the killer. Want to try with these 3 going in at the same time and growing together and hopefully I can get somewhat harmony amongst killers, if that makes sense!?

oh.... too bad.... diff fish has diff behaviour..... too bad yrs cant work out... get another dude... and alll the best...

Arros are one fish that seem to turn for no apparent reason. For everyone that keeps them in harmony theres someone that has problems.Certainly growing 3 on together gives you the greatest chance of success.Good luck and sorry to hear of your sad losses, particularly as our silver is in with 5 spotted gars and 4 pikes.

we had two silvers and one killed the other, now he's in with 1 peruvian gar, 2 everglades, 2 parrots and a pleco. he's buds with everyone, especially the peruvian, sorry for your loss:(
