Hey everyone. I have a silver aro that's about 18inches. He's in my 240 with my jar and a couple of oscars. The silver hasn't eaten in 2 days. I don't know what's wrong. Water parameters are perfect and every other fish are eating well. He also started to swim against one side of the tank like he wants to escape. He still swims around but every now and then he opens his mouth like he wants to throw up. Should I worry? What should I do? I was thinking of not feeding for a couple of days, but the other fish are eating fine so I would be starving the other fish also. He looks great and doesn't look stressed or sick. Any help is appreciated, The Doctor.

mine didnt eat for over a month.
few days is nothing
and the "aro dance" is normal and the mouth thing.

well this not eating thread might not help much but it shows they can go a long time without eating.

every once in a while mine wont eat for a few days.
if it goes on longer then a week maybe try something else.

Thanks for the two threads Mid. Now I feel a little better. Just hopes he doesn't take a month to start eating. I will try to feed him/her again tomorrow.
