Hi i have been on holiday for a week and add a friend feed the fish while i was away. Before i went my arowana would eat from my hand always be ready for food stealing it from the bottom and top very greedy the tank lights where off the whole week i was away now iam back hes not eating he keeps jumping into the tank top hes spinning round in circles hes not eaten for 2 days now any ideas
forgot hes also lost some tale fins prob with all the freaking out hes doing

i have seen this before. don't think there is anything you can do. turn the lights out to reduce stress. hopefully it will snap out of it. with my experience the fish died. they are sensitive to drastic changes.

My silver does the same. Very social, but after one day I moved him to his own 75 he constantly freaks out. Been like that for months now.

Oh great hope he dont die i left the lights on all night to see if he can get used to it again but all he does is swim round in a circle and jump . Leason learned when going on hol put a light timmer on tank . As for tank mates yes 5 motoros

Ya its better if you can keep the lights consistant with a timer. Much easier and the fish tend to not freak out. He may have been pissed you left him and in the dark none the less.
