Silver not silver

As you can see my silver arow isn't that silver especially the reddish colour on his fins. He's grown almost 2 inches in the month I've had him. He heats fresh prawns, muscles carnivore pellets and the odd Oscar pellet when he can. He's about 8.5 inches now. He's in with a ray so I've been hot on with the water.

Any ideas why?

Thats just the way some are. He will lose almost all of thr colour as he grows. He looks very nice

Your silver is of typical color for that size.

Yup younger silvers have a redish and bluish coloration.

My small fellow also has a awesome pinkish aura around him when I turn on the lighting of tank makes silver aro look cool
And when they grow they get a better shade and colour I will post my frnds big aro pic soon
