i bought my first aro a couple of weeks ago and hes doing well so i thought id get another. the new aro is only 1-2" smaller so i figured they would be cool together. so i put him in went to dinner and i come home and he is swimming to the bottom of the tank and is all beat up. is this normal? what should i do? i have another tank i can put him in but it has a bunch of angels and such in it. is this an option? please help!

is that for ever or just till they r older

its like a hit or miss thing
there are a few who have kept 2 silvers together that have no aggression issues
wait for those who have succeeded and have some experience to share

I currently keep two silver aros together, took three atempts(different combination each atempt) before I got one that worked. It either works right off or it doesn't, you can not do anything to make it work except get a different aro.

well it might be easier to just take him back. ive had my eye on a stone fish for a while will it work with an aro

i've heard that stonefish contains some poison. could be dangerous.

either way i believe they prefer brackish-salt water fish, depending which kind (even the 'freshwater' stone fish)

Seperate that injuried silver for at this size, injuries like this can kill him.
