i say male long trailers females have more of a rounded top fin

while that works some of the time its def not key indicator, my female GT had pointed fins long before my male did lol, i would think with silver saums its the same as gold ones (correct if this is wrong) but if it were a gold saum i would say female because of the lack of irridescent body color and no design within dorsal fin, also has a lot of bearding on gill plate

id say male due to the fin but like sarah said doesnt always work.

Looks female to me. Lots of blue under it's mouth and drab body color = female. Pointy fins don't mean anything most of the time.

Thanks for all of the info. Im kinda hoping this is a male because I already have a female that has laid eggs. Their are noticable differences between the two, my proven female has a shorter stubby body, and theirs a difference in ther head stuctures as well. I couldnt capture the details of the dorsal fin with my camrea, but this fish does have some beautiful markings in the dorsal.
