SILVER SHARK AND RAYS

Large Barbs such as tinfoils are dust bins with fins,their appetites are second to none.Heres the problem,unless you have hundreds of gallons of water at your disposal then they present a very heavy load on your biological system not to mention making it difficult to get food to the rays,personally i wouldnt add them but its your choice,from a compatibility point of view there shouldnt be a problem.
 
im thinking of picking up a 30cm silver shark?
any problems that you guys can see?

to go into a tank with 2 motors about 20cms and 15cms
1 spotted gar 18cms
1 flagtail 18cms

any problems that you guys can see?
 
all good, just after some more research found out its also called a bala shark which is fine, from what i can see from my search :)

but any tips keeping bala/silver sharks with rays will be great ?
any one had problems with them attacking ray eyes or anything?
 
I would just keep asking around and keep a close eye on the situation, if you decide to try it. I'm sorry a more definitive and knowledgeable voice hasn't chimed in thus far; I wish I could be of more help.
