Hi all
I got 2 silver sharks a while ago, both were the same size but now one is at least three times the size of the other. I haven't seen the smaller one being bullied or any thing it seems to be happy enough ,it just isn't growing as fast as the other one . Does any one know why

Thanks

Its either one is dominant over the other or some just grow faster than others. My two 4 line pims were the same size when I got them and now one is twice the size of the other.
What exactly are your fish? I have never heard of just a silver shark, that could mean several different fish.

Oh ok thanks, i know dominant fish get bigger but i didn't think they got that much bigger. Some of the more common names are Bala Shark, Silver Shark, Tri Color Shark Minnow, Hangus, Silver Bala

Dominance is probably the factor here... same with my rainbow sharks... the dominant one is growing faster.
