Milky Way Galaxy,
Not the freezer but the fridge part. Its that k? I know they wont last as long but I hate putting them in the freezer then they are all clumped and I have to cut them and its not a clean cut and you cant defrost and freeze them just like humen food. Its just a pain!!!!
So id like to know if I can leave them in the fridge :) I ush go though a pack of 200 in 3 weeks.

When I buy them, they usually defrost/soften a little by the time I get home. At this point, they are ready to break apart and divide into smaller sections that I put in zip lock bags. I take a bag out a time and leave it in the fridge. The rest I keep in the freezer. This way, I have a small batch of defrosted silversides at any given time. I don't think I would want defrosted fish in my fridge for a few weeks.

I never kept a bag of silversides in the refrigerator for the length of time you are asking. I can tell you this - seafood doesn't keep long in a refrigerator. In my opinion, you wouldn't want to keep more than a weeks worth at any given time. My guess is the nutritional value will start to decline. It only takes a few minutes to break a slab of silversides into smaller baggies when you get them home. When you start to get low, just bring another baggie out of the freezer and put it in the fridge. Plus you can save the baggies for the next batch. Why risk it?
