Silver & Tiger Datnoids

can silver datnoids be in the same tank as tiger datnoids if thay are the same size?

Yes they can and they don't even have to be the same size, in fact IME dats show more agression towards similar sized dats and tend to leave the smaller dats alone. Silvers are a little more agressive than "tiger dats", so make sure you have enough to spread the agression. Have at least 3-5 dats in there, but the more the merrier ;)
 
I agree with vanimate 100%, size doesnt matter and it does seem that dats of the same size tend to fight more then ones of different size.

I have an 11.5" thin bar with a 2.5" indo and zero problems.

silver dats do ok with all sorts. i have two with my NTT. the largest one (6") doesnt do any harm to any of the others (all about 3").

sorry what do you mean by "tiger dats"? arent they all tiger dats?
 
how much is the going rate for a 2" silver dat? i from sum for $19

Didnt u just get that 11.5 incher?? No problems...yet. Im sure you will never have anything go wrong, all i know is i would not put a 2.5 incher in there... im not taking the chance of a 20ish$ feeder.


All dats are tigers. If u want to be technical you need to call them by the real names.
