silver tipped sharks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just bought then returned 3 of them last week. I didn't do my research until after I bought them( impulse buy). They need brackish water around 4 or 5 in. Then from what I've read they should be in a full marine tank as adults.

they need marine when they turn into adults and i believe can get 12''

if you have them already i hope your ready for alot of work as they require alot, or they will get a nasty skin disease and die. if you dont have them yet, dont get them until youve done all your research and are ready to take them and there maintanance on.

very good advice and info everyone... you all did your homework..

yea i have 2 of them they are around 5in to 6in long i just add aquarium salt and there fine i have had them for about 7mo

It must be actual marine salt for them to live(if you're talking about aquarium salt as in API aquarium salt that is just a tonic/healing medication for sick fish not marin salt)..... you will also need an aquarium 18" wide or wider so that this fish (capable of reaching 12"-14") has space to swim and turn....
