I have become good friends with the fish person in Walmart and he said that he could order me a silver arowana. Problem is that he'd have to place a minimum order of 6. However, he said that they'd only cost me ~$35 for an 8-12" one. If anybody is looking for a silver and lives in the sedona/prescott/flagstaff area, let me know.

6 Arowanas, at 8-12" each.. In a Wal-Mart tank?

This is almost as hard to believe as Wal-mart selling Stingrays..

are they made in China? Your 8 - 12 incher probably would break after the first usage. Doesn't matter though, they got 5 more so you can just take it back!

They will be shipped in between the Ajax and Fabric Softener underneath the apple juice :( I hate Wal-Mart and everything they stand for. I would rather buy Fish from Big-Lots. I would get the Fish while it was bagged cause God only knows what sort off FUNK is in their tanks. Our Wal-Marts pack fish like sardines in their tanks:eek: Nothin like seeing 50 Oscars with HITH gasping for air while they charge $13.99 for them...... AND IDIOTS BUY THEM :screwy:

Even though you are good friends with him, I still don't think you should order any fish trough them. They have a bad reputation for fish for a reason. Even if he knows what he is doing he isn't the only person who takes care of the tanks, so who knows what crap is in them.

Also if you order them whos to say he will be there when the aros arrive. You could have some dumb kid who doesn't know a pleco from a guppy handleing them when they arrive. Plus it would probably be your luck and they arrive and they don't call you can they end up cramming them all in one tank with a bunch of other sick fish.

If you want one that bad, I would advise ordering one off the internet or, buy one from one of the sellers here.

Just my 2cents.
