i was wondering of getting another silver arow .
mine is currently a 12incher .
can i buy another silver and put it in the same tank without it eating it ?

hey there.. how big is your tank.. you definitely cant buy anythin smaller than a 12" aro and try introducing with the existing aro.. aros are usually kept in odd numbers 1, 3, 5.. and then there are people with two aros also and everything seem to be fine. i have 3 aros in the same tank.. 2 are around 18" and 1 must be 16"+.. they had their individual tanks till they were about 12" to 14".. i did try moving them with my other large aro but she whacked them within 30 minutes of the move.. so exercise caution.. best thing is if you have a real large tank.. you could divide it and put em in each half.. try introducing slowly.. any sign of aggression get the divider back on.. cheers..

Not recommended unless you have away to separate the two aros if they fight. Odds are that they will fight.

I would take the aro you have out and put in another tank for a few weeks

Then move everything around in the tank even remove all the drift wood rocks and decor and replace it all with new stuff in different place

Then get the new aro and put them both in the tank at the same time but make sure they are the same size as you will just be asking for trouble with a big size different
That said I have mixed tiger fish the same size fight like crazy then kept a 20 inch tiger with a 6 inch with no problems at all

What ever you do do it at the weekend so have time to monitor things
