when breeding rays is it best to keep 1 male to a few females? can one male do the job i for say three females? do groups of males or females seem to get along better? can you spark breeding buy water changes or bulk feeding or any thing else? any other tips you guys might have would be greatly apprciated

For me what works best is more than one male. Having competition definitely spurs the males to breed with the females. I usually have one male that is a proven breeder with one that is mature but not being aggressive enough and usually they will both start competing with females.
I haven't experienced anything with the water temp.
Make sure your rays are always well fed.

i have always kept 1 male 2 females

but what i have found is the male will only breed with one of the females once he have picked him mate
