I recently bought a 10g tank to set up in my room. Right now there are just goldfish in it. I was wondering would a smallmouth bass from a lake survive i the tank or is it likly to die?

Yea, and it will probably eat your goldfish. I think you have to have at least a 75 gallon for a bass. And I think it will go up as it grows...

Im not talking about a big one. Im talking about one thats about 1" or so and get it a little bigger to move it into my real pond. Would a small perch work instead. I dont plan on keeping it to get huge.

Um.... I really think you should reconsider. I just smell a disaster coming. Small tank, big fish, real pond? How about a guppy?
