Single Fish 75gal Ideas

So I recently upgraded my 75 to a 120 and now have the 75 open to do whatever. I want to do a single fish. This seems to be what I'm into lately. I would love some suggestions on a single fish but I did have some ideas. I had in mind the following:

Nandopsis haitiensis - Hatian Chiclid
Amphilophus labiatus - Red Devil
Flowerhorn - Not sure what type. Maybe even a cool looking "mutt"
True Feste x True Midas Hybrid. If anyone has seen this grown out I would love some pics. I can't find any on the internet.

That's just what I had in my head. What would you put in there?

ps. I don't want to do an oscar. So don't say oscar. :)
 
Puffers are awesome in species-only tank
 
My first suggestion is a puffer also. A ceylon puffer would be awesome.... Second, I like the amphilophus idea, but I'd have to say the Hogaboomorum. They're sweet. Do a search on MFK and you should see a thread by Aquamojo showing them in the "fishroom".
 
I'd have to say a Flowerhorn. I love mine.

Although, lately I've been thinking he may be outgrowing the 75.
 
I'm just talking single fish. Not single species. I love puffers but I don't think I'll go that rout on this tank. I have a single puffer tank already, as well as a single piranha tank. A fahaka puffer would be sweet but would outgrow the 75. I need a life-er!

I like the Amphilophus Hogaboomorum idea. Very cool looking fish. I'll put that one on my list too!

Are those bamboo shoots on your HOB? That's pretty cool.

Also other ideas that just came to mind.
Dovi - Will they get to big?
