So iv got a new 180 and id like to put a single fish in it. Id like something with plenty of personality. My initial thoughts we're midevil, midas and maybe a vieja. Im not wanting an oscar but would listen to any other suggestions. Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing your responses

If you want something relatively peaceful id personally go pearsei. If you want alot of color a syn would be it.

If you want attitude. A male jaguar, trimac, etc would be worth looking at.

If you can spare a 240 it doesn't get better than a big costa rican dovii

What about a fahaka puffer, pretty cool once they get confident... cichlid wise a lone male jag or dovii, i like my butti he is around 13 inch and they grow super quick ime. Could do a wyckii catfish for years before it oit grows it, or a nemurus for life. Black rhombus or manny piranha. Theres a few fish i would consider, my wyckii is currently in a 4ft 100g at about 17inch and seems happy digging all night.

I've got a monster Paretroplus dambabe in a 150g with 3 royal plecos. His ladies died in a power outage a couple of years ago. He's probably 14" or so.

If you want a sociable cichlid, it's hard to beat a Uaru.

I also had an African Lungfish as a wet pet. Great fish, very intelligent and lives for like 100 years!

I remember that lungfish in Sactown when I went to get the Sajica and Centracus! BTW, just got small Centracus from a club member!
