Single fish tank suggestions

So moved around a bit as I was looking for a new job, found one and settled down so now I'm excited to get my big tank filled up again.

Before the move I had a fire eel and a mating pair of GTs in my 150G tank, but now I'm thinking of maybe a single fish setup. Seeing as I haven't been in the fish world for awhile I'm unsure of what would make a good single fish display.

Would love to have something with color, for the tank aquascape was thinking play sand then some river rock and driftwood, I have yet to find fake plants that looked nice (if anyone knows of some please let me know and I'd like to add that as well).

For filters I have two XP3's so nothing that would require any more filtration then that.

Jardini Arowana, they dont make that much of a mess IME. Or a midas. Or a fh.

electric catfish if you are an oddball keeper but a Jardini is a good suggestion

a single fish setup, hmm if i were to have a single fish in such a tank, i would go for a parachromis dovii, they are so interesting and can look amazing when they get blue ish..

Depending on the size of the tank and how you plan on setting it up i'll second getting a Fahaka...
