My Yellowtail Barracuda was recently attacked by my Needle Nose Gar and it shredded up his dorsal fin a bit. Anyways, I used Melafix for 4 days, using only half a dose each time due to him being a shiny, overly-sensitive fish. Well, today I put the carbon packs back into my filters (did a 30% water change yesterday) and noticed that the dorsal fin has healed, but now there's a single white dot in the middle of it :/ ammonia and nitrites are all at 0 ppm and nitrates are around 5 ppm. The room he's in has VERY minimal activity, all sides and back of the tank are blacked out, and he's pretty much stress free. I know the treatment says to go 7 days, so do any of you think that the fact I cut it short could have caused a problem? He isn't breathing hard or anything yet. All and any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
