Hi all,

I really love stingrays, and I'm going to get a 72-90 tank soon (haven't quite decided). My only problem is I have to be able to leave for a week or so, and keep the fish alive. I don't exactly want to hire someone, and none of my friends/relatives seem to have enough time.

ARRRG:irked:... Need help.

And consider a tank about 4-5x the size.

No way you can leave them for a week.. And a tank that size would go crazy..!

DONT GET ANY STINGRAYS IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME!!

You have to give up your life for stingray's just like children. You have to plan around them. If your not willing to commit to them, then just plain dont get one. There are tons of other really cool fish that you can set up an auto feeder or something.
Also a 90 gal would just be a start...You would have to PLAN on upsizing with in a year.
Good luck on your fishy hunting!

I have gone without feeding for about 5 days or so.. i did so to get them to eat pellets.. but your tank is too small.

tank is too small... i have also not fed mine for multiple days while on vacation...

get a bigger tank 1st off. second, you can load your tank a day before with a few 100 ghost shrimp, do a big WC, and your fine. will take atleast 2-3 days to pick them off, and its atleast something to eat :)
